#25Words Part 2 From Compass to Action: The Discipline of Doing

Updated: Dec 12, 2025

Our Wealth With A Why mission is to encourage as many people as possible to have a conversation about their values and their capital (time, treasure, talent, ties, testimony… and even trust) and to feel empowered to act accordingly.

Following our recent exploration of the "Internal Compass"—the values that ground us—we have moved the conversation to the next phase of the Wealth With A Why journey: The Action Plan (see the LinkedIn summary).

Knowing why we want to act is crucial, but knowing how to deploy our capital effectively requires a different set of disciplines. In Wealth With A Why, we talk about a belief that "action absorbs anxiety". When we shift from worrying to doing, we take back control and move from feeling helpless to empowered.

These virtues guide us in managing our wealth—our Time, Treasure, Talent, Ties, and Testimony—to create tangible change.

Whether you are discussing these with family or colleagues, ask yourself: Where does my financial strategy require more prudence, and where does it demand more boldness?
